- Check your new couch you just bought. If there is blood in the corner of the couch (check under the cushions and flip the couch over) then you most definitely could have an issue.
- If you are unsure if you have bedbugs and have been waking up with bites on your skin get some pest tape cards to stick around your bed. At night the bedbugs will step on them and get stuck. When you wake up they will be a sure sign if bedbugs are in your house.
- Check for holes in the wall, outlets, vents to see if bedbugs could slip through there or are even hiding there. You can use a spray or Tempo dust to fill in these areas to kill them off. This could only be temporary so make sure you get them all. A trained technician will be able to spray all areas that bedbugs can reside.
- Pick up and vacuum your place. Make sure it is nice and tidy so it is less attractive for bedbugs to burrow in a pile of clothes while you are spraying the rest of the room. A lonely bug was what got into your house the first time. Don't leave any behind.
